In Rotherham, the Cornerstones Approach self-evaluation tool is widely promoted in schools and services as the foundation to any graduated response. A growing number of schools and settings have also worked towards ensuring the Cornerstones are embedded within their culture and ethos through the Charter Gold Accreditation process. Some of these school offer peer support to other schools.
We have worked with Contact to produce the Quality Indicators for Co-production and Inclusive Practice and supporting guidance to support local area self-evaluation.
Simple Cornerstones self -evaluation tool – a ‘dip in the water’ to seek feedback from staff, parents, carers and young people to find out how well you are doing as an organisation when it comes to the Cornerstones. This tool has the potential to inform an action plan and can be adapted into an electronic document.
